Deliveries expected to finish mid-April\n2026.<u><br \/>\nLower Gwydir:<\/u> The 3 month delivery of E-water to Lower Gwydir ceased on 26 December 2025. A total of 7,550ML entered the watercourse at Millewa, including\n3,200ML of managed E-water.&nbsp;<br \/>\n<u>Gingham: <\/u>Deliveries commenced early December 2025. Target flow rate is 100 ML\/d connect through to Boyanga Waterhole. Delivery target\nmay continue past February.<br \/>\n<u>Whittakers Lagoon: <\/u>Orders have been placed to fill Whittakers Lagoon to fill the lagoon before the end of January 2026.<br \/>\n<u>Mehi River flows: <\/u>Delivery for fish to the lower Mehi commenced 13 December 2025. This flow will continue through Summer and into\nAutumn.<br \/>\n<u>Barwon River: <\/u>In addition to the Mehi River flow releases from the Border Rivers and Gwydir valleys commenced over Christmas New Year. This event was designed to support base flows in the Barwon River between Mungindi and Walgett. Releases from Glenlyon and Copeton\nDams are expected to cease early February 2026.",

There has been significant changes to the proposals, a direct result of the feedback\nfrom each of you. We thank the NSW water Minister and her department for responding to the feedback they received.<br \/>\nThere are still however newly prescribed wetlands in the Gwydir. Landholders who still have sites on their land, which they do not support as wetlands <strong>have until the 23rd March to provide feedback to the department,<\/strong> as the plan is still subject to change through\nthe public consultation period.&nbsp;<br \/>\nIn addition we will be reinforcing the need for any landholder impacted by these new and all existing wetlands to be directly consulted by\nthe department.
